SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
dUE TO THE CURRENT COVID PANDEMIC ALL FIELD TRIPS HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED.
At Hilton Daycare, believe in caring for the whole child. This includes physical, mental, emotional and social health. We believe field trips and outings are one way to encourage growth and learning in these areas. The safety of children will be the first priority on all of our outings. Below you will find a partial list of all of the things we like to do and places we like to go! If you do not want your child to go on certain trips, you will need to find alternate care on those days!
McDonalds Playplace Wilmington Ohio
Lets face it, sometimes we just need to get out of the house and run, jump, climb and play but the weather does not cooperate! This happpens often when it is cold or rainy for an extended amount of time. Sometimes that means we will load up and go to Wilmingon McDonalds for a place to play. Often times we will also have a small snack and drink while we are there. Of course we would rather get outside to get moving, but when we have no other choice this activity is always a hit!
Local Parks and Lakes
We have many parks, lakes and other public lands within a short distance of daycare. From Sabina Park, to Wilminton Park, to Cowan Lake, we will make use of these places and enjoy all of the activities that they provide, from playing on the playground to hikes and nature scavenger hunts. These activities are usually free.
Sabina Public Library
We will often use the Sabina Public Library to expand our reading library and attend children's programs. They have many children's programs that the children usually very much enjoy. These activities are most always free.
